SO Health to offer DNAFit testing to create bespoke training for clients.
SO Health are now offering DNAFit testing for clients to help us create a tailored program for you.
The process takes 10 days following a swab test and screens gene variants linked to the body’s response to training and nutrition. This then presents us with a detailed report based on your test results. The process uses computer algorithms to discover how to best train your body based on your genetics. This means we can create a much more bespoke training program for you to get the very best results.
The University of Central Lancashire have conducted a study that shows athletes can improve their performance by three times using DNA-matched training, with the likes of Olympic long jump champion Greg Rutherford ahead of the 2016 games in Rio and several English Premier League clubs using the method via the DNAFit training test.
SO Health’s chief consultant and public health ambassador Saeed Olayiwola is delighted to offer the service, saying; “It is always my wish to provide the very best bespoke fitness programs, but of course everyone is different and has different needs.
“By engaging with DNAFit testing, we have a scientific way to measure how to approach tailored training for each individual.”
